Hi, my name is Ian Woolcott and I am the founder of Taste Fitness. I have been sports mad ever since I can remember and have enjoyed a great deal of success in a wide range of disciplines including gymnastics, athletics, boxing and kickboxing so needless to say I am extremely passionate about health, fitness and Nutrition. I understand the challenges that most of us face when trying to build muscle, lose weight or even just trying to improve our overall fitness.
When I first started competing I struggled to understand why my performance, recovery and even attitude varied so much from day-to-day. My need to understand how nutrition impacted my performance inspired me to study sports psychology and health science. What I discovered is that nutrition is far more important than many of us realise. Not only are our food choices vital for muscle growth and the key to fat loss but more importantly a poor diet is also responsible for many diet-related illnesses, such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and even depression.
The world of health and fitness can be incredibly confusing so I founded Taste Fitness with the aim of providing a no nonsense guide to fitness & nutrition and to help others reach their fitness goals.
